Sports Museum, Braves Banner Combined in New Effort
Yes, there is a Buffalo Sports History Museum. The good news is, ExPats can visit as easily as locals because currently the "museum" is virtual only. A collection of Buffalo sports memorabilia and relics curated by John Boutet, a high school phys ed teacher, begs for a public home in real space. Currently it is only available for viewing in cyberspace.
Mr. Boutet has been working on finding a place for his collection at HSBC Arena among other locations around Buffalo Niagara. He says progress is finally being made, partially in conjunction with another project Boutet is working hard on presently, to memorialize the Braves at HSBC Arena with a banner that retires McAdoo's and Randy Smith's numbers. See also,
Sports History.
For more information about the museum and the banner, see the following links from Bleacher Report.

The Little Three is now The Big Four
In
our attempts to keep ExPats in the loop we will announce a change that

Perhaps you're as far out of the loop on this as we were. What was once
(in our day) the Little Three basketball rivalry (St. Bona, Canisius
and Niagara) is now the "Big Four." Enter UB.
